Tooling Cost

Q: What tooling costs am I looking at? A: Fox Valley Stamping Company charges a one-time tooling fee. For flat parts with holes, the cost is approximately $50, and more complex parts may have a higher cost, rarely exceeding $1,000.

Average Run Quantity

Q: What part quantities can Fox Valley Stamping Company accommodate? A: Our average order ranges between 750 and 1,000 pieces. Over the years, we have fulfilled orders of various sizes, from one-piece prototypes to 5-piece orders and even up to 100,000-piece orders.

Materials

Q: What kind of materials does Fox Valley Stamping work with? A: Fox Valley Stamping Company works with prime quality flat stock, and we can also use your supplied prime quality raw material. Common materials we work with include aluminum, brass, copper, beryllium copper, phosphor bronze, all carbon steels, and stainless steel. Additionally, we offer a wide range of finishes and tempers for CNC metal stamping.

Q: How large of a part can you manufacture? A: Fox Valley Stamping Company can produce parts of various sizes and shapes. We process sheets with thickness capacities up to 3/8” (.375) in mild steel, and our maximum sheet sizes are 48” x 96”.

Dimensional Tolerances

Q: What kind of dimensional tolerances can Fox Valley Stamping Company hold? A: Our dimensional tolerance standard is +/-.005, and when working off customer samples, we can go to +/- .015.

Customer Samples
